Email Deliverability Issues


If you're experiencing issues with Winehub emails not being delivered (after setting up and verifying your Automated Emails), there are a few potential reasons. One common cause is DMARC authentication, a security setting used by some email servers to prevent spam and phishing.

What is DMARC?

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) is a security protocol that helps prevent email spoofing and phishing attacks. It works alongside SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) to verify whether an email is legitimately sent from your domain.

How DMARC Affects Email Deliverability

Winehub uses SPF & DKIM authentication to verify emails, but DMARC is controlled by your domain, not Winehub. If your domain does not have a DMARC policy, some email servers with strict security settings may reject automated emails from Winehub.

How to Fix This

If emails from Winehub are not being received, we recommend checking your domain’s DMARC policy or considering adding one. This is configured through your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Google Domains, Cloudflare) and affects all email sending from your domain, not just Winehub.
