Club Shipping Profiles
A club shipping profile allows you to define custom shipping rates for club members that override your standard Shopify shipping settings. Free club shipping is a common use case for this, allowing you to offer free shipping to selected clubs without having to create different shipping profiles in Shopify. The shipping rate defined in these settings will be attached to the membership contract when it is created on sign up and this will carry forth throughout the contract’s lifecycle.
Modifying rates in the shipping profile after creation will not adjust the shipping rate on existing contracts (ie. only future contracts will be impacted). To change rates on existing contracts, either update each contract manually with the new rate, or use the Bulk Shipping Rate Swap tool.Create a new shipping profile
- Under Shipping Origins, choose the location(s) that will fulfill club orders (all locations initially show up under Excluded Locations)
- Under Shipping Zones, click Create New Zone
- Add a Zone Name, select the Country and/or Sub Regions, then save your new shipping zone.
- Click Add Rate and enter Transit Time, Price, Currency and Conditional Pricing (Optional)
- Save your new rate & repeat as necessary
- Use the toggle to attach the new shipping profile to all clubs (optional)
- Save your shipping profile
You can apply your club shipping profile to wine clubs individually via each club's setup page.
If you don't enter a club shipping profile, your regular Shopify shipping profiles will apply.
