Winehub’s referral functionality makes it easy to reward loyal customers for bringing new members into your wine club. Here’s how it works:
- Flexible Rewards: You can choose to reward the referrer, the new customer, or both.
- Reward Options: Rewards can be either a 'product reward' or a 'voucher reward'.
- Tiered Approach: Winehub uses a tiered rewards system, encouraging continued referrals with increasingly valuable incentives.
This streamlined system not only helps grow your wine club but also strengthens customer loyalty by recognising and rewarding referrals.
Currently, referrals are linked to Wine Club subscriptions only and you can allocate specific product rewards to both the referrer and the recipient. Once both customers have a live subscription they will be able to apply a 100% discount code for the reward product assigned. This code is made available to the customer via email and the customer portal.
Setting Up Rewards
To set up referral rewards, select “Reward Settings” from the main Referrals page.
Set the number of days to claim the reward, and any reminder days (eg; 30 days to claim reward and reminders emails sent on day 10, 20 and 29).
Click the “Add Reward” button to add a reward. Set the number of successful referrals required to receive the reward, and select a reward type. Additional rewards can be added in the same way, up to a maximum of 4 rewards.
Product Rewards
Successful referrals can be rewarded with free products. Select Product as the reward type, and click “Add Existing Product”. Then choose your desired reward product from the product list.
Each reward can contain up to 4 products. Specify the quantity of each product using the +/- buttons.
Ensure you have enough stock of any reward products so no one misses out.
Successful referrals can also be rewarded with discount vouchers. Discount vouchers offer customers a single use discount code that can be applied to a sale. Select Voucher as the reward type, choose the voucher type you want, specify the voucher amount and add an optional minimum order value (eg; $10 off an order over $50). The voucher code is emailed to the customer and is also available in the customer portal.
To complete the referral configuration, save your settings using the button at the bottom of the page.
