Customising Language Settings

You can use the Winehub translation feature to:

  1. Display your Sign-Up App and Customer Portal in a different language.
  2. Customise the default text to match your winery’s tone and terminology.

Most wineries focus on customising existing English text, such as renaming headings or updating labels, to create a branded and personalised experience for their customers.

Adjusting Default Text to Match Your Brand

You can easily update default labels and headings in the signup app or customer portal to align with your brand's voice. For example:

  • Rename Home to Account Details.
  • Update Subscriptions to Wine Clubs.

These changes are reflected throughout your Customer Portal and Sign-Up App, making them feel unique to your business.

The customisations that you make to language are unique to each section (ie. you customise the Sign-up App & Customer Portal separately)

How to Change Language or Customise Text
  1. Go to Sign-Up App Settings or Customer Portal Settings.
  2. Select your default language (English, unless changed).
  3. Click Edit Selected Language 
  4. Update the text fields with your preferred wording.
  5. Save your changes by clicking Save Edits.

Adding a New Translation (Optional)

If you want to offer your portal or app in a different language than those offered:

  1. Click the Create New Translation button.
  2. Name your translation and enter a language code.
  3. Replace the English text with your desired translations.
  4. Click Create to save.

Streamlined Customisation with Translation Breakdown

The Translation Breakdown tool in an alternate way of doing translations. It simplifies edits to specific areas of the Customer Portal or Signup App, such as:

  • Customer Portal:  Navigation & Menu 
  • Signup App: Wine Selection

This tool is perfect for making quick, targeted updates without combing through all settings.
