Bulk Product Swap

The Bulk Product Swap tool allows you to replace products across all wine clubs and subscriptions. It is useful for:

1. Low stock / supply constraints
   
2. Vintage rollover / new batch release
   
3. Product retirement or replacement
   

Accessing the Tool

1. Navigate to Wine Clubs > Bulk Actions
   
2. Select Bulk Product Swap then Replace Product next to the product you want to swap
   
3. You can select multiple products to be swapped at once (No need to run swaps individually)

Configuration Steps

1. A pop-up will display all wine clubs associated with the product.
   
2. Use Select Replacement Variant to choose the replacement product.
   
3. Clubs with custom pricing will show price entry fields for the new product.
   

Important Notes

It may take some time for all contracts to be updated with the new product(s). You can continue using the system as usual while this swap is in progress.

1. You cannot use a product being replaced as a replacement elsewhere in the same swap (e.g., Product A replaces B, but B replaces C is not allowed).
   
2. By default, shipments within the cut-off period are not replaced. Enable Admin Override to include these.
   
3. To update contract prices to match the replacement product, check Update contract line item prices.
   
4. To notify customers of changes, check Notify Customers.
   (Email templates can be managed via Settings > Action Email Templates > Wine Club Templates > Bulk Product Swap)

Once setup is complete, click Swap Products to process the swap.
