Price Changes for Club Products
When updating the price of a product that is part of a Wine Club, it’s essential to understand how price changes flow through Winehub and Shopify.
Shopify Price Changes
If you adjust a product price in Shopify:
The new price will immediately reflect in Winehub for general use
All new Wine Club signups will see and be charged the updated price
However, this does not update prices for existing Wine Club contracts
Winehub does not have the ability to retroactively apply changes to existing wine club subscriptions if the price change is performed via Shopify
Winehub Price Changes
To update pricing properly across both new and existing Wine Club members:
Adjust the product price directly in Winehub
You’ll see a button to ‘Update Contract Prices’ – click this to apply the new price across all existing wine club contracts.
If you forget to press this button, Winehub will alert you upon saving and give you another opportunity to update contract prices.

Recommendation: Always make price adjustments in Winehub, not Shopify, if the product is part of an active wine club. This ensures consistency in pricing for all club members.
Price modifications may not appear on all contracts immediately after saving the product. Depending on the number of contracts linked to the product it can take some time to communicate the changes back to Shopify where the subscription contracts are stored.
