Updating Customer Contact Details

Shopify serves as the master record for most customer details and these details are synced directly into Winehub. This means that most updates to customer contact details should be made within Shopify, with the exception of Subscription Addresses.

Phone

Update the customer phone number in Shopify via the customer’s profile. See Shopify support for detailed instructions.


Email

Update the customer's email address in Shopify via the customer's profile. See Shopify support for detailed instructions.


Address

Default Address: Update the customer's default address in Shopify via the customer's profile. See Shopify support for detailed instructions. This will be set as the customer's preferred address going forward, but it will not update any existing subscriptions. 

Subscription/Contract Address: If the customer has active subscriptions, the contract address must also be updated in Winehub. This is because the contract address can be different to the customer's default address. See Update Subscription Address for detailed instructions.
