Delivery Frequencies

Delivery Frequencies

Delivery frequencies define the schedule options you offer to customers when they join your wine club - such as Monthly, Quarterly, or Bi-Annually. You can add as many frequencies as you like, and there's no limit. For each frequency, you then choose how and when customers are billed, using either Fixed Date or Anniversary Date rebilling methods.

Each frequency is a distinct configuration with its own billing schedule, discount structure, and perks - so a Monthly member and a Biannual member can have a completely different experience within the same club.

1. Fixed-Date Rebilling

Billing occurs on specific, pre-defined calendar dates set by the admin. Fixed-Date billing is generally the easiest option from an operational standpoint. Your club runs are predictable, your fulfilment window is known in advance, and it's simpler to plan staffing and stock around.

Examples:
  1. Bi-annual deliveries: June 1st and December 10th.
  2. Quarterly deliveries: March 30th, June 1st, October 30th, and December 10th.

Info
You must specify ALL of the billing dates for each frequency upon setup. For example, a Bi-Annual frequency must have two dates added whereas a Quarterly frequency must have four dates added.
Alert
If you use Fixed-Date billing, you should be sure to understand the Cut-Off Period and configure this according to your business needs.

2. Customer Purchase Anniversary-Date Rebilling

Rebilling is based on the customer’s signup date, with intervals defined by the admin. Anniversary billing offers more flexibility for the individual customer as they're always billed relative to when they actually joined, which can feel more natural and personal. This model also delivers a steady club cashflow throughout the year, rather than a few large spikes.

Examples:
  1. Every 3 months (e.g., signup date of January 15th rebills on April 15th, July 15th, and October 15th).
  2. Every 6 months (e.g., signup date of January 15th rebills on July 15th and the following January 15th).

Additional Frequency Options

  1. Frequency-Specific Discounts:
    1. You can assign unique discounts to each delivery frequency to incentivise specific schedules.
    2. Example: Offer a 20% discount for quarterly deliveries and a 10% discount for bi-annual deliveries.

  2. Visibility Settings:
    1. Toggle whether each frequency is visible to customers on the front end.
    2. Use Case: Hide a frequency like "once per year" if you want to restrict new members from signing up to that option.

Info
If you are using "skip single step options" sign up behaviour you must have at least one delivery frequency visible on sign up.
